Privacy policy for subscribing to the Marco Besso Foundation newsletter

OWNER, SUBJECT OF THE INFORMATION AND INTERESTED PARTIES
Pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Marco Besso Foundation, as Data Controller, informs users of the website of the purposes and methods of processing the personal data collected in the attachment form for registration to the newsletter service, of their scope of communication and dissemination, as well as the reasons behind their conferment.

DATA PROCESSED
The identification and contact data, name, surname and email, imply consent to their use in order to send the newsletter as requested by the user.

PURPOSE OF TREATMENT
The data communicated by choice by the user and voluntarily will be used to receive information and / or invitations in a targeted and relevant way from the Foundation.
The provision of data is optional, however any refusal to reply makes it impossible for the owner to process the requests for sending messages.

LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING
The legal basis of the processing is consent. Consent is considered given by flagging the appropriate box at the bottom of the online form and is necessary to provide the service.

METHOD OF TREATMENT
The data processing is carried out through IT procedures or in any case electronic means and paper supports by subjects, internal or external, specifically appointed and authorized for this, adequately trained in the field of personal data protection and committed to confidentiality.
To send messages, the Marco Besso Foundation uses the e-mailing platform made available by MailUp SpA, with registered office in Via Pola 9, 20124 Milan (Italy).
MailUp processes the personal data communicated by completing the Foundation's online form (name, surname, email address) as Data Processor.

Mail Up may record some of your activities (such as openings, clicks, clients, locations) to offer you increasingly relevant content. It is possible to disable the tracking of these activities in "manage your preferences" in the confirmation email upon registration.

DATA STORAGE METHOD AND TIMES
Personal data are stored by adopting adequate technical and organizational security measures in line with the provisions of the Privacy Regulation, with suitable tools to guarantee their security, integrity and confidentiality through the adoption of adequate measures as required by law. The data are kept until the interested party opposes the sending and the latter's willingness to renounce receiving the newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each communication or by writing to the email address: privacy @ foundationmarcobesso .net.

COMMUNICATION AND DIFFUSION, RECIPIENTS
The data collected will not be disclosed, transferred or exchanged with third parties without the express consent of the interested party, except for any communications to authorized third parties - committed to confidentiality or in the case appointed as data processors pursuant to art. 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (as companies operating in the IT sector and IT assistance and hosting companies) where necessary for the purposes referred to in this information. The data may be communicated to the competent authorities, according to the terms of the law.

TRANSFER OF DATA ABROAD
The Marco Besso Foundation does not transfer the data collected for sending newsletters outside the European Economic Area. The Data Processor, MailUp, makes use of IT and / or telematic tools with CPUs allocated in the territory of the European Union in order to avoid the cross-border transfer of personal data, adopting logic strictly related to the purposes of the services that MailUp is obliged to provide to the customer. and in strict compliance with the provisions in force on the subject, also with regard to data security. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

The interested party can assert their rights as expressed in articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, by contacting the Marco Besso Foundation, by writing to the postal address: Largo di Torre Argentina n.11 00186 Rome; or to the email address: privacy@fondazionemarcobesso.net.

In particular, pursuant to the applicable legislation, the interested party has the right to obtain:
information on the origin of personal data, on the purposes and methods of processing, on the legal basis of the processing, on the logic applied in case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic tools and in the event that an automated decision-making process exists and in this the importance and expected consequences of such processing;
indication of the identification details of the Data Controller and of the Managers;
information about the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the data may be communicated or who may become aware of the same as appointed representative on the territory of the state, managers or agents;
information about the retention period of personal data or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine this period;
access, updating, rectification or integration of data concerning him;
cancellation without undue delay or limitation of processing;
data portability, i.e. the transmission of data in a commonly used and readable format from any device and the right to transfer them to another data controller (where technically feasible);
the attestation of the fact that the operations referred to in the preceding points have been brought to the attention also as regards their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case in which this fulfillment is impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right;
revoke the consent given at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation;
lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
